My name is Samantha Vollo, a senator for the sophomore class of 2021. I am a nursing major here at Niagara University and a peer tutor. I am also a part of many clubs such as Student Nursing Association and Camp Good Days Crew. As a representative for NUSGA my job is to not only embody and voice the opinions of the sophomore class but to represent the University and the community as a whole. My role is to participate in different committees such as the internal review committee and the NYC trip committee for the freshman and sophomore class. I also help partake in jobs delegated to me by others members in my class delegation. My favorite thing about being a part of NUSGA is being involved in my community more and getting the most out of my college experience here at Niagara. NUSGA has given me the opportunity to express the opinions of the student body. My favorite memory of NUSGA was all of the memories I have made with my new friends! Anyone who is thinking about joining NUSGA, I would encourage them to do so. I was questioning joining my first semester sophomore year, not knowing what it entailed. However, I am so incredibly happy I am involved in NUSGA, and it has changed my college experience for the better.
