Student Body President
Minor(s): Philosophy, Chemistry
Position Duties: As Student Body President of the Niagara University Student Government Association, I act as the official liaison between students and administration. In doing so, I represent student needs and ensure that they are properly addressed by the NUSGA. I preside over NUSGA Executive Branch meetings, and I am responsible for the coordination and execution of all NU student government programs and legislation.
Committee: President's committee involvement includes being active with members of all 3 committees.
Campus Involvement: Outside of NUSGA, I enjoy participating in the mission trips NU has to offer and volunteering with the Circle K international Club. I also have had the opportunity to mentor new students going into a science major, assist in teaching a Biology Laboratory course, attend events hosted by the biomedical ethics program, and perform research on various therapies for diseased brain cells in our Golisano laboratories.
I joined NUSGA to effect lasting, positive change in the way students experience their academic, social, and personal life at Niagara University. In my time as a member of NUSGA, I've gained much more this however. I've learned how to think about issues from different perspectives and design solutions which benefit everyone, as well as be a part of group of driven, fun, and creative individuals. Everyone in NUSGA is extremely welcoming and the experience you get through any position here is something that will undoubtedly benefit you throughout the rest of your career, no matter what your future profession will be. If you are interested in NUSGA, don’t hesitate to reach out to me!
My office hours this semester are Mondays from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the Clubs and Organizations office. I hope to see you there!
